The Windy CIty

The Windy City is a wonderful city, filled with young professionals, sports history, art, culture, and more. It is the most populous city in the entire Midwest. It is the third most populous city in all of the United States. 

Salvatore Toia grew up in the Windy City and continues to live there today. He has a great love for the city and all it has to offer to its residents as well as its many tourists that visit every year. Some of the greatest aspects of the city include:

Sports City

With its popular big four sports teams including the Blackhawks, Cubs, Bears, and Bulls, the windy city is well known as one of the greatest sports cities in America. Along with a long list of championships and lengthy franchise histories, it is also well known for its incredible sports atmosphere. Chicago sports fans are some of the most passionate fans in the nation and it shows when they fill stands at historical Wrigley Field and the other major stadiums and sporting arenas in the city. 

Cultural City

Outside of sports, many people visit the windy city for its unique and interesting art and culture. Many of the world's greatest stars, artists, and celebrities have taken the stage at the Chicago Theatre such as Aretha Franklin, Ellen Degeneres, David Letterman, Robin Williams, and many many more. The Art Institute of Chicago is also a popular spot for tourists and residents to explore art and culture, recognized internationally as one of the leading fine-arts institutions in the United States.

Cloud Gate - "The Bean"

Cloud Gate, also nicknamed, "The Bean" is a central image and aspect of the city of Chicago. Created by artist Anish Kapoor, the bean shaped structure measures 33x66x42 feet and weighs around 110 tons. Cloud Gate displays a beautiful and distorted reflection of the city skyline. Almost everyone that visits the city stops by here to take creative and unique photos.
